Set in the grounds of the historic Hampstead Castle Estate, Elmhurst Nursing Home is accessed via Hampstead Avenue in Glasnevin, north of Griffith Avenue.
Hampstead Avenue is opposite the Esso station / Glasnevin Tennis Club on the Ballymun Road. The 11, 13 and 19a bus services are within easy walking distance.
